Grand design of the national bureaucracy reform minister in the form of Regulation No. 15 / 2008 on General Guidelines for Bureaucratic Reform, is a blueprint for reform until 2025. National bureaucratic reforms implemented in order to realize good governance ( good governance ). In other words, reform is a strategic move to build the state apparatus to be more efficient and effective in carrying out public duties of government and national development. The key to successful reform of the bureaucracy that carried out by employees is an entire state apparatus capable of changing the mindset and cultural set, including public participation. Reforms related to the implementation of the National Police Headquarters, has proposed Police Reforms proposal document which includes five courses, including the flagship program through quick wins, quick response samapta the police, the transparency of service license, vehicle registration and BPKB, transparency of the investigation service, and transparency of recruitment Police personnel. The program is a major product having the Police powerful leverage ( leverage key ) and the benefits can be directly perceived by the public, and can be realized and the results can be measured.
One of the flagship program, the program transparent recruitment of members of the Police, had preceded the ministries and other government agencies in logic the national ground zero of bureaucratic reform. True is, evidenced by achievements in knowing the police plan to recruit members of the police through the principles of acceptance of clean, transparent, accountable and humane, which started in 2007. While the grand design of new national bureaucratic reforms initiated in 2008.
This means that the police had been preceded in the realization of good governance ( good governance ).

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
  1. Indonesian citizen (man or woman).
  2. Minimum age of 17 (seventeen) years, maximum 21 (twenty one) years.
  3. Faithful and devoted to God Almighty.
  4. Loyal to the Republic of Indonesia based on Pancasila and the Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia 1945.
  5. Physically and mentally healthy (Health Certificate from the Institute of Medicine).
  6. Never been sentenced for committing a crime (SKCK).
  7. Authoritative, honest, fair and of good character.
  8. Willing to be placed on the entire territory of the Republic of Indonesia and willing to be assigned to all areas of police work.
  9. Never been married.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
  • Midshipman candidate sources Medium School (SMU)
  1. Certified as low high school / Madrasah Aliyah IPA / IPS with an average of Final Examination Results (Huan) of at least 7 (seven) for science majors and 7.25 (seven point two five) for the Department of Social Studies,
  2. For graduates of 2012 (the class III) using the average value of Class III semesters Ratings Iminimal 7 (seven) for science majors and a minimum of 7.25 (seven point two five) for the majors IPS, which was passed by the Principal and the subsequent use of the letter graduation mark with the criteria of "pass".
  3. The special police brigade official source at least 2 (two) years, ranking 1-5 and performance assessment (SMK) either once (value 49-54), the maximum age of 21 (twenty one) years.
  4. Minimum height (with the weight balanced in accordance with applicable):
  • Men: 163 (one hundred and sixty-three) cm
  • Women: 160 (one hundred sixty) cm
  • Never been married and could not get married as long as the education establishment.
  • Willing to undergo the Association Office of the First (IDP) for 10 (ten) years commencing from the time appointed Police Officers (The Office downs are excluded).
  • Obtaining consent from a parent / guardian.
  • Association of Office is not bound by an agreement other agencies.
    • At the time of registration:
    1. Have ID cards by households in the province / territory where registration laws of police and local residents have been at least 1 (one) year.
    2. Has been residing at least 1 (one) year as evidenced by the report card / certificate for high school sitting in class III / Madrasah Aliyah.
    3. For those who have worked steadily as an employee / employees:
    • Approval / recommendation of the head of the agency concerned.
    • Willing to be dismissed from the status of employee / employees, if accepted and followed the educational establishment Akpol Midshipman.
    • Undergo and pass inspection / testing of both the Regional Committee and Central Committee with a system that has been determined.Other matters relating to the admission requirements of the prospective cadets Akpol TA 2012 will be organized in a separate Decision.
