Data Management Analyst (DMA)
Jakarta

Role Synopsis
  • Data Management Analyst is responsible for ensuring data service requirements are met, providing the technical leadership, guidance, support, and be able to deliver data management projects.
Key Accountabilities
  • Ensuring data service requirements are met, to agree SLAs by the IT&S Data Management Support team
  • Report to the IT&S Data Manager
  • Provide technical leadership, guidance, and support in one or more areas for data management support activities
  • Deliver data management projects for various technical functions across upstream business
Essential Education
  • At minimum bachelor degree in an upstream function such as geoscience or engineering or equivalent upstream industry experience
Essential Experience and Job Requirements
  • 5+ years experience performing technical data management in one of the following Upstream data domains (i.e. subsurface, wells, production, engineering); loading, exporting, transforming of data to and from Upstream master and project database(s).
  • Strong knowledge of data types and data uses in one of the aforementioned Upstream data domains.
  • Experience with data loading and exporting, and the analysis of data problems and quality issues
  • Good understanding of Upstream data, work flow processes and DM standards
  • Competency in Unix/Linux/Windows administration and shell scripting
  • A good understanding of the concepts of application system/architecture and application integration
  • Able to read and interpret data models of widely used Upstream industry master and project databases (e.g. Openwork)
  • Familiar with the use of geographic coordinate reference system and Upstream data domain specific standards and transformation concepts
  • Effective communication and writing skills necessary to effectively supervise, motivate, teach, and lead technical discussions and information sessions
  • Enthusiastic and self-motivated with attention to detail
  • Strong Bahasa Indonesia and English communication skill
  • Ability to work independently while interacting with a global team of data professionals from a variety of backgrounds
Desirable Criteria & Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of document and record management
  • Basic knowledge and skills on ITSM (Change and Service Management)
  • In-depth understanding of databases: Oracle, SQL Server, creating and configuring databases
  • Extensive experience with SQL Plus and PL SQL programming
  • Experience in integrating data across Operating Systems: Unix, Linux and Windows
  • Knowledgeable of multiple Upstream data domains
  • Experience in delivering projects with adherence to Project Management methodology (e.g. methodology from PMI)

Wells Intervention Engineer (WIE)

Role Synopsis
  • The Well Intervention Engineer is responsible for well interventions engineering activity covering the planning, program generation and execution of well interventions operations in accordance with BP HSSE/IM/COW standards and ETP Engineering practices (ETP and STP)/ SOPs as well as meeting regulatory compliance. The Well Intervention Engineer will provide the interface with the Petroleum Engineers and other members of the multi disciplinary team necessary for efficient well intervention activities.
Key Accountabilities
  • Demonstrate strong commitment to HSSE in all activities and ensure operations comply with program and regulatory requirements
  • Perform well intervention planning and generate programs and ensure well Intervention activities comply with BP’s HSSE, IM, COW Standards and DWOP Engineering practices (ETPs and STPs) and SOP relevant to operations
  • Perform engineering and feasibility studies, cost evaluations, equipment and services evaluations in compliance with BP policy and procedures and all local and Ministry regulations
  • Perform performance tracking and management to provide data for technical limits and for continuous improvement in operations
  • Perform cost management to ensure projects completed on schedule and within budget
  • Interact with contractors and service providers to ensure a high level of performance and technical integrity on activities
  • Perform post activity evaluation, knowledge management and transfer of best practices to embed lessons learnt in upcoming or future well intervention activities
  • Identification and implementation of appropriate new technologies, to improve well productivity and lower project cost
  • Coach and mentor junior well intervention staff
Essential Education
  • Bachelor degree in relevant Engineering discipline
Essential Experience and Job Requirements
  • At minimum 5 years of experience in Well Intervention Engineering and Operations specifically in big bore, high pressure and high gas rate well completion.
  • Familiar with industry standards and practices for slick-line, e-line, coiled tubing, work-over, and pumping operations.
  • Understand type of completions and artificial lifts equipment
  • Hold the valid well-control certificate for well intervention from IWCF or IADC
  • Understand the principles of well integrity
  • Strong communication skill in English and Bahasa Indonesia
  • Self starter, independent worker that requires minimum supervision
Desirable Criteria & Qualifications
  • Personal commitment and proactive approach to HSSE
  • Awareness of legislation pertaining to well operations
  • Experience of working with third party service providers
  • Participation in continuous improvement processes
  • Aptitude to innovate and be open to new ideas
  • Proven track record as a strong team player
  • Ability to work to timelines with minimum supervision
  • Organized with good planning and follow-up skills
